Who We Are
The Law Students’ Society (LSS), Olabisi Onabanjo University, is the official and inclusive umbrella body representing over 800 vibrant law students in the Faculty of Law, Ago-Iwoye. We are a dynamic student-led organization committed to building a formidable legal community driven by excellence, advocacy, leadership, and purpose.
We exist to add value, contribute to academic advancement, and foster intellectual growth among law students through strategic programs and a strong legacy of excellence.
Our Mission
To supplement legal education through capacity-building initiatives like seminars, symposiums, legal publications, law debates, moot and mock trials, and court excursions. We aim to raise visionary legal professionals equipped with advocacy skills and practical knowledge to thrive in emerging legal fields and make meaningful contributions to the legal profession.
Our Vision
We envision a generation of lawyers emerging from OOU who are fearless in advocacy, grounded in legal knowledge, and passionate about justice. These future leaders will drive reforms across Nigeria and beyond, inspiring integrity, championing human rights, and upholding the law with courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to societal transformation.
